Call for Abstracts countdown as MM2025 Early Bird registrations open

Q&A sessions coming up in June ahead of the blockbuster conference ‘where it all happens’

Advanced Pharmacy Australia (AdPha) has opened Early Bird registrations for Australia’s largest and most influential scientific pharmacy conference – Medicines Management 2025 (MM2025) – while announcing two new abstract Q&A sessions this month as the 2 July deadline edges closer.

The magic and momentum of AdPha’s 49th national conference will shine a spotlight on pharmacy practice, across Australian hospitals and adjacent care settings, at the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre from 27-29 November, spearheaded by keynote speakers Jana Pittman, Joel Pearson and Dr Sandro Demaio.

AdPha Vice President Dr Kate O’Hara FANZCAP (Neonatol., Paeds) says the blockbuster conference will showcase pharmacy in motion in Victoria’s buzzing capital, home to international hubs of health care and innovation.

‘It’s exciting to open Early Bird registrations for Australia’s largest scientific pharmacy conference, which offers unparalleled inspiration and connection to take you and your team higher.

‘Whether it’s your first or fifteenth Medicines Management, one thing remains the same: this is where it all happens.’

Dr O’Hara says the three weeks until the Call for Abstracts closes provide the perfect window to finalise a powerful pitch, across any area of pharmacy practice.

‘Every year, Medicines Management shines a spotlight on the incredible talent and passion of pharmacists, technicians and their peers across health care.

‘The Abstract Submission open Q&A sessions on Tuesday 17 June and Wednesday 25 June – free for AdPha members – provide a dedicated and open space to ask any burning questions about the abstract submission process and share handy tips for writing an effective abstract.’

Abstracts are welcome from pharmacists and technicians across all care settings until 11.59pm AEST, Wednesday 2 July. Submissions are invited in three categories: original research, pharmacy practice, and case reports.
